ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS (N.Y. PUBLIC WORK)

THE WELLSVILLE CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT

Invites bids for GENERAL CONSTRUCTION, PLUMBING, MECHANICAL, and ELECTRICAL

for 2023 Capital Improvements Project - Phase 2 located at 126 West State Street, and 50-98

School St, Wellsville, New York14895.

Separate sealed bids will be received by Wellsville Central School District at the Elementary

School (50-98 School St, Wellsville, New York14895) Main Entrance, until 3:30 local time on

10-30-2024 at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Multipurpose

Room. It is the sole responsibility of the bidder to ensure that the bid is received at the

designated location prior to the designated time for opening bids.

Copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained by Prime Contractors, Subcontractors and

Vendors, at Roto-lite Elliott, One Grove St. Pittsford, NY 14534 upon deposit of One Hundred

Dollars ($100.00) per set, all Bid Deposit checks shall be made out to Wellsville Central School

District. Include, in addition to the document deposit, a non-refundable check in the amount of

Thirty-Five Dollars ($35.00) per set for handling and postage of sets to be mailed. All checks

shall be made payable to Roto-lite Elliott. Alternatively, bidders can provide their UPS or FedEx

shipper # for shipment of bid documents.

In lieu of paper bid sets, bidders can view electronic plans and specifications online upon a

Fifty-Nine Dollars ($59.00) nonrefundable payment by visiting www.recplanroom.com (Click

Public Jobs under the Menu Tab on the left-hand side of the plan room homepage. Once you

are in the public plan room please select the link of the District􀂶s name).

A Pre-Bid Meeting for the Project will be conducted by the Architect/Engineer on October 14,

2024, at 1:00 pm, local time, beginning at the Elementary School.

The Wellsville Central School District hereby reserves the right to waive any informalities and

reject any or all Bids or to accept the one that in its judgment will be in the best interest of

Wellsville Central School District. A Bid Bond or Certified Check in the amount of five percent (5%) of Base Bid is required and

must accompany proposal. Performance Bond and Labor Material Payment Bond equal to one

hundred percent (100%) of Contract Sum are required to be delivered at time Contract is

signed with Owner.

Attention of the Bidder is particularly called to the following:

1. The Owner's sales tax exemption.

2. The minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract.

3. The requirements pertaining to certification of Non-Collusion in preparation of proposals

submitted for this Project.

No bidder may withdraw their bid within forty-five (45) days after date of bid opening.

Bidders will comply with New York State prevailing wage and supplement requirements.
