Toilet Room Renovation at Papa Bear

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Seneca County herein known as “Owner,” will receive sealed bids for “Toilet Room Renovation” at Papa Bear, 7175 Main Street, Ovid New York, herein known as “Project,” until 1:30 pm local time on Thursday, August 22, 2024. Sealed bids will be received at the County Office Building Board of Supervisors Session Room, 3rd Floor, 1 DiPronio Drive, Waterloo, NY, 13165. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. Fax’ed or emailed bids are not allowed. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud by the Owner.

Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. Project is to be publicly bid with prevailing wage rates and will be constructed under a single prime contract for construction. Each bid must be prepared and submitted in accordance with the Bidding and Contract Documents. Each bidder must submit a complete Form of Proposal.

Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the form of a Certified Check, Bid Bond or Bank Check in the amount of (10%) ten percent of the bid amount.

Each bid must be accompanied by a Non-Collusion Bidding Certificate included in the Project Manual.

The Work of the project must be completed by October 31st or it may commence on January 1, 2025. The Owner requires full use of the building during the months of November and December.

Bidding Documents will be available for viewing at The New York State Contract Reporter.

Bids may be held by the Owner for a period not to exceed forty-five (45) days from the date of the opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of the Bidders prior to awarding the Contract.

Bidder attendance is recommended at the pre-bid conference. Prospective bidders are requested to meet at the site for a pre-bid conference on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at 12pm. All Bidders are required to visit the site and familiarize themselves with the project requirements.
